Junior Search Engineer
SLI Systems is looking for a junior search engineers to join its growing development team. This is an opportunity to develop innovative new technology that will be used by some of the world's largest e-commerce websites. Supporting several hundred e-commerce sites around the world, and serving many millions of page views per day, SLI offers a terrific environment to work with other committed and talented people on challenges that are truly international in scale.
The ideal candidates will be able to implement business requirements in a quick and consistent manner, including contributing to the architecture and technology decisions.
The requirements for a candidate would be:
- Friendly and enthusiastic
- 2-3 years of commercial software engineering experience
- Basic experience with UNIX and open source systems
- Basic experience in some of Perl/PHP/SQL/Java/HTML/JavaScript
- Excellent English communication skills
